Privacy Policy for Photo Editor
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Photo Editor (the "App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App. The App is developed and operated by Youngware (the "Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy, and we designed the App to process your photos on your device.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The App is a photo editing tool. Your photos and edited images are processed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or access your photos on any server. Specifically:
- We do not collect or transmit your photos or edited images.
- We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contact list.
- We do not collect your precise location.
2. Information Collected Automatically
The App uses trusted third-party services to show advertisements, process purchases, and improve stability and quality. These services may automatically collect certain information, such as:
- Device information (device model, operating system version, language, and screen size)
- App information (app version and general usage events, such as screens viewed and features used)
- Advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID)
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
- Purchase and subscription status (processed through the app store; we never receive your payment card details)
- Approximate (coarse) location inferred from your IP address, used by advertising services for regional ad delivery and legal compliance
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services. Each service processes data under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Displaying advertisements | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google Firebase Analytics | Understanding aggregate app usage | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reporting and app stability | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| RevenueCat | Managing in-app purchases and subscriptions | revenuecat.com/privacy |
| Google Play Billing | Processing payments | policies.google.com/privacy |
4. Advertising and Consent
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Depending on your region and your consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
If you are located in a region that requires consent for personalized advertising (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland), the App will show a consent form before serving personalized ads. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from within the App's settings, where available.
You may also limit ad personalization at the device level:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payments are processed by the app store (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card information. To validate and manage purchases, purchase tokens and an anonymized app user identifier may be processed by RevenueCat on our behalf.
6. Photos and Storage Permissions
The App requests access to your device's photos or media storage solely so that you can select photos to edit and save the edited results back to your device. This access is used only for the features you invoke. Your photos never leave your device through the App.
7. Data Retention
We do not maintain servers that store your personal data. Data collected by the third-party services listed above is retained according to their respective retention policies. Analytics and crash data are retained by those services for a limited period and are used in aggregate form.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
9. Security
We value your trust and strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not hold personal data on our own servers, most such data resides with the third-party services listed above; you can also exercise controls at the device level (for example, resetting or deleting your advertising ID). If you have questions or requests, please contact us using the details below.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
